Focusing on the whole student experience.

Learning Reconsidered is an argument for the integrated use of all of higher education's resources in the education and preparation of the whole student. Learning Reconsidered 2 moves beyond traditional ideas of inside and outside the classroom learning and transcends the boundaries between curriculum and co-curricular education by applying new models and examples of the theory and principles explicated in Learning Reconsidered. While the second volume makes progress in providing practical examples of how to create the dialogue, tools, and materials necessary to transform learning, this interactive Web resource serves to 1) update innovative programs applying concepts from Learning Reconsidered, and 2) help grasp the full breadth of examples of programs that promote transformative learning.

This Web site complements material already in print by creating user-friendly tools, forums, and resources that allow for further descriptions and applications of program examples. It provides a versatile option to help institutions implement recommendations already made in earlier documents. Responding to the challenge of creating change in higher education, this site will be another tool towards identifying and achieving student learning outcomes and making transformative education accessible to all students.
